About the role

Keep our product projects on schedule, from parts to delivery.

Full-time, permanent. In our Montréal office, Monday to Friday. Not remote. Reports to the VP Product.

About us

OSCP builds photonic inertial sensors (gyroscopes, IMUs and navigation systems) in Montréal. Our sensors keep drones, robots, vehicles and aircraft navigating when satellite navigation (GNSS) is jammed or gone. Our customers work in defence, aerospace, robotics and maritime. We are about 20 people.

The job

Our engineers should spend their time on engineering. You take the rest of the project off their plate.

Schedules and planning

  • Build and keep the schedule for each product and customer project
  • Build our project tracking tools, including Gantt charts and status dashboards
  • Choose our project management software, set it up and get the team using it
  • Run weekly project check-ins and track actions to closure
  • Flag risks and slips early, with a plan to recover
  • Report status to the VP Product and management

Supply chain and purchasing

  • Turn build plans into parts lists and purchase requests
  • Follow up suppliers on quotes, orders and delivery dates
  • Track lead times, long-lead parts and stock levels
  • Work with finance on purchase orders and invoices

Project admin

  • Keep project files, documents and revisions in order
  • Coordinate builds, tests, loaner units and shipments with sales and export
  • Track customer and government program milestones and deliverables
  • Prepare meeting notes and status reports

About you

  • 2+ years coordinating or managing projects for a physical product (hardware, electronics, aerospace, defence or manufacturing)
  • Organized and persistent. You chase dates without being asked.
  • Strong with spreadsheets and Gantt charts
  • Experience setting up or running project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana or similar)
  • Proficient with Claude. You use it every day to plan, draft, analyze and build tools, and can show us examples.
  • Clear writer in English. French is an asset.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • In our Montréal office, Monday to Friday. Not remote. Start: as soon as possible.

Nice to have:

  • PMP, CAPM or similar
  • Experience in a start-up or small team
  • Supplier management in electronics or optics
  • Experience with government-funded programs or milestone reporting

What we offer

  • A key role in a growing deep-tech company
  • Equity through stock options
  • Group insurance (details at offer)
  • Paid time off

About OSCP

One Silicon Chip Photonics (OSCP — legal entity OSCPS Motion Sensing Inc.) develops next-generation photonic inertial measurement units (IMUs) and navigation systems for GNSS-denied environments. Our on-chip integrated-photonics gyroscopes and MEMS sensors deliver precision, size, and stability advantages that let autonomous, defense, aerospace, and heavy-industry platforms navigate reliably without GNSS. We are Montréal-based, venture-backed, and ITAR-free (Canadian jurisdiction) — a deliberate strategic advantage for our customers.

Why join OSCP

Work with cutting-edge Canadian photonic navigation technology.

Own the hardware and software customers touch first — directly shaping how our products get adopted and deployed.

Join a small, fast-moving, collaborative team bridging deep tech and real-world applications.

What we value

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
  • Strong ownership — you ship, document, and support what you build.
  • A collaborative mindset paired with the confidence to advocate for the right technical path.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a bias toward action.
