Why OSCP: A team solving problems that matter

Most deep-tech companies are still trying to get something out of the lab. We are past that. Our sensors are in customers’ hands, in defence, aerospace, robotics and heavy industry, and the feedback loop from a real integration is what drives the roadmap.

The problem itself is genuinely hard. Measuring rotation with light on a chip means the physics, the photonics, the electronics, the firmware and the calibration all have to be right at once, and there is nowhere for a weak link to hide. It also means you can see your work: a number on a datasheet moves because of something you did.

We are small, which is the honest version of “you will have scope”. You will own things end to end, your decisions will not be diluted through four layers, and you will talk to the customers who use what you build.

And we are in Montreal, in one of the few places with a real photonics ecosystem around it, building something Canada can export on its own terms.
