Etienne Deffarges is a former San Francisco, California based senior business executive and entrepreneur, who is now retired from full time work and serves on half a dozen boards. He was a Senior Partner with Booz Allen Hamilton; a Global Managing Partner with Accenture, participating in the company’s then leading IPO in the NYSE in 2001; and co-founded a health care technology services company, R1-RCM, leading its IPO in New York. In addition to the Accenture and R1 IPOs, he has been involved in five other exits, with technology and health care start-ups he coached as an advisor or board member.

He holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar; A MS from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a French Government Fellow; and a BS/MS degree from ISAE/Sup’Aero in Toulouse, France, in aeronautical and aerospace engineering.
