Kazem Zandi

Kazem Zandi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OSCP. A seasoned technology entrepreneur with over ten years of executive leadership, he drives the company’s strategic vision, investor relations, corporate funding, and strategic partnerships. Under his leadership, OSCP has successfully matured its core technology and assembled an elite cross-functional team to commercialize advanced photonic solutions.

With over two decades of industrial expertise spanning photonics, lasers, optoelectronics, and MEMS devices, Kazem brings a rare combination of deep technical mastery and strategic business acumen to the industry. Prior to establishing OSCP, he spearheaded process engineering initiatives as a Senior Process Engineer at C2MI and served as a Senior Optoelectronic Devices Engineer with Defence R&D Canada, delivering critical R&D advancements for defense and industrial applications.

Kazem holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Micro-Photonics from École Polytechnique de Montréal, where his research focused on Integrated-Optics based inertial sensors, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Applied Physics (Photonics). A prolific inventor, he holds 15 patents in advanced micro-systems and integrated photonics.
