OSCP has been awarded Contract CW2438157 under the Innovative Solutions Canada Testing Stream for its Innovative Enhanced IMUs with High Performance and Low SWaP‑C for Defence.

Under this agreement, OSCP will deliver and support a family of four enhanced inertial measurement unit variants – MK2M2, MK2M2G, MK2E2, and MK2E2G – for testing with Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Valcartier. These compact IMUs are designed to facilitate positioning and navigation in GNSS‑denied environments, supporting a range of defence applications across autonomous systems, drones, robotics, and soldier‑borne platforms.

Phase 1 of the project covers innovation assembly, contractor calibration, and independent third‑party laboratory testing of the IMUs against defined performance specifications, including inertial performance, environmental robustness, and electromagnetic compatibility. Upon successful completion and review of Phase 1, Canada may authorize Phase 2, which focuses on integration, configuration, and operational field testing of the IMUs on representative Department of National Defence platforms.

“We’re excited for this project and to contribute to Canada’s defence sovereignty by advancing domestically developed inertial sensing technology for mission‑critical platforms,” said Kazem Zandi, Founder and CEO of OSCP. “We look forward to working closely with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and DRDC Valcartier to validate and deploy our next‑generation IMUs in demanding defence environments.”
